Black Madre Studio was invited by Dude and Blizzard to create a presentation of the hellish world depicted in the new game Diablo IV.
The project drew inspiration from Hieronymus Bosch’s incredible triptych The Garden of Earthly Delights (1494). Our task was to reinterpret the artwork by drawing various parallels between the game and its characters across the three panels depicting heaven and hell.
The piece was displayed at the Prado Museum in Madrid on a massive panel, allowing fans and art enthusiasts to explore every detail and connection between the game and the original masterpiece.
